Our jury brings together architects, designers, editors, and creative professionals from across the field, each contributing a distinct perspective and shared sensitivity towards design.

Elena founded her practice in 2004 after working with Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Her built work spans cultural institutions, housing, and public space across Italy and Portugal.

Principal, Marchetti Associati, Milan

Carlos leads a studio known for contextual architecture rooted in craft and climate. He has taught at UNAM and Harvard GSD and has been published in over 30 countries.

This category highlights projects that balance functionality and atmosphere, shaping environments that respond to everyday life with sensitivity, while expressing a strong architectural character.

Spaces designed to host, from hotels and restaurants to cafés and retreats, where architecture and interiors come together to shape memorable experiences through atmosphere, materiality, and a strong sense of identity.

Spaces dedicated to culture, education, spirituality, and collective experience. This category includes galleries, museums, religious buildings, and civic institutions, recognizing projects where architecture and interiors shape meaningful environments.

Workspaces that respond to evolving ways of working through thoughtful spatial planning and material clarity. This category recognizes environments that balance functionality, flexibility, and well-being, while creating a strong architectural identity that supports both productivity and human experience.

Commercial spaces that move beyond function to become spatial experiences. This category recognizes projects where architecture and interiors shape the identity of a brand, creating environments that engage users through materiality, atmosphere, and a clear conceptual intention.

Projects that exist beyond construction, exploring architecture through proposals, concepts, and speculative work. This category highlights ideas that communicate strong spatial thinking and design intent, regardless of whether they have been realized, emphasizing clarity of vision, research, and the power of unbuilt architecture to shape discourse.

An editorial recognition dedicated to a young studio (founded after 2016) with a distinct and promising voice. This award highlights practices that demonstrate clarity, consistency, and a strong design approach, contributing fresh perspectives to the contemporary design landscape.

A recognition of visual storytelling in architecture and design. This category celebrates photographers whose images capture atmosphere, materiality, light, and spatial experience with clarity, sensitivity, and a strong editorial eye. All projects submitted across the other categories are automatically eligible for this award.

The awards are open to architects, designers, photographers, studios, and creative professionals from around the world. Both emerging and established practices are welcome to apply.

Most categories accept built projects only, across architecture, interiors, photography, and related disciplines. The exception is the Unbuilt Spaces category, which is dedicated exclusively to unbuilt or conceptual work.

Yes. Participants may submit multiple projects through the available entry options, with reduced rates applied to additional submissions.

Yes. The SENTIDO Awards are open internationally, and submissions are welcomed from practices and individuals worldwide.

All projects are reviewed independently by the jury, composed of architects, designers, editors, and creative professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds. For more information visit our Jury section.

Unbuilt or conceptual projects can only be submitted within the Unbuilt Spaces category. All other categories are reserved for built work.

Selected projects and winners will be featured through SENTIDO’s digital and editorial channels, gaining visibility within an international design audience. Additional recognitions may be announced at a later stage.

Submission fees are non-refundable once the entry has been completed and reviewed.

Once submitted, entries cannot be modified. Please ensure all information and materials are complete and final before completing your submission.

By submitting, participants confirm they are the rightful authors and owners of all submitted materials. They grant SENTIDO permission to use the content for editorial and promotional purposes for editorial coverage related to the awards.
